Working with flow (not force) to lovingly unearth the story(ies) you are longing to tell.
About Xio
Rosio (Xio) is a queer and trans storyteller, writer, and visual artist of mixed descent with strong ancestral roots in Purepecha territory, otherwise known as Guanajuato, Mexico. Their stories center the land, magic, and ancestral medicine. Their purpose in storytelling is to expand our society’s understanding of what’s possible as the new world is being birthed. When they are not writing, they are stewarding land through urban planning and food system design. They split their time between the Central Coast of California, the Bay Area, and Mexico.
“My work is spiritual and grounded in land stewardship. My creative process requires me to walk through the world as a curious observer who believes every soul we encounter is our mirror, an opportunity to learn something about ourselves and uncover our life’s purpose. These mirrors and the relationship between them are explored in depth through my storytelling and writing. I work with themes of Love, Spirit, queerness, land, and ancestral medicine. I see my work in conversation and play with dreamers, artists, visionaries, and makers who believe a more loving world is possible.”
